WHY ACCELERATE COLLABORATION?
Getting everyone on the same page is no small task, especially across partnerships and coalitions. That is why we created the Accelerate Collaboration workshop and Visual Collaboration Kit after two decades of work in the field.
This workshop is geared for those working in and with partnerships, coalitions, collective impact, collaborative, and place-based initiatives that involve more than one organization.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
This two-day workshop provides you with basic visual recording skills and trains you to use the new Leapfrog Visual Collaboration Kit, which contains an Overview guide and a set of six wall sized visual templates and six facilitator guides:
Community Systems Map
Collaborative work is rich, complex and sometimes difficult to describe in its entirety. The Community Systems Map illustrates levels of partnerships, key players, trends, key data and desired impact in order to see the collaborative as a whole.
How can we design and articulate a coherent flow of meetings, milestones, and decisions within the larger context of our collaboration? This map provides a big picture view of how planned events, milestones, and deliverables will unfold and connect to the common purpose.
Seeds of Change Logic Model
Organizations often create logic models to articulate their change process and determine desired impact. This template uses a growing-harvesting metaphor to illustrate elements found in traditional logic models to create a holistic story of an organization or partnership's purpose, work, and impact.
Community Legacy Vision
What is our desired vision as a collaborative? What would success look like in our community? A shared collaborative vision is essential to guide and focus the work of the partnership. This template provides an engaging and creative way to describe the future at its best.
Crossing the Gap
Once work is underway, the challenge is keeping in mind the dynamic tension between current state and desired future impact. This map provides a clear framework for illustrating the current situation, a shared vision, the gap, and agreed-upon strategies for moving forward.
This action planning map visually shows multiple flows of activity across time. When a group works on this map together, they leave with the knowledge of what lies ahead, ownership of key parts of the plan, and a deeper connection to common purpose.
