WHY ACCELERATE COLLABORATION?
Getting everyone on the same page is no small task, especially across partnerships and coalitions. That is why we created the Accelerate Collaboration Visual Facilitation workshop and Visual Collaboration Kit after two decades of work in the field.
This workshop is geared for those working in and with partnerships, coalitions, collective impact, collaborative, and place-based initiatives that involve more than one organization – or organizations striving to cross silos to maximize impact.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
This two-day workshop provides you with basic visual recording skills, and trains you to use three templates in Leapfrog's Visual Collaboration Kit.
Community Systems Map
How can we best understand what is going on in our partnership? Collaborative work is rich, complex and sometimes difficult to describe in its entirety. The Community Systems Map illustrates levels of partnerships, key players, trends, key data and desired impact in order to see the collaborative as a whole.
How can we design and articulate a coherent flow of meetings, milestones, and decisions within the larger context of our collaboration? This map provides a big picture view of how planned events, milestones, and deliverables will unfold and connect to the common purpose.
This action planning map visually shows multiple flows of activity across time. When a group works on this map together, they leave with the knowledge of what lies ahead, ownership of key parts of the plan, and a deeper connection to common purpose.
